The bookworm section
I am completely nuts over the ex-penal
colony
in French Guiana. I faint at the words "doublage", "route coloniale
numéro un" or "Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni"... I had wanted to
read
Albert Londres' historic report for a long time. Well, it's beautiful
and terrible. In L'Assommoir (The Dram Shop), there is a very enjoyable
catfight scene (which reaches a peak when the heroine gives a bare ass
spanking to her enemy). I learned a lot of stuff from the third book,
e.g. that women can be sexually aroused by going shopping. As for me,
what I dig are clothes that belonged to somebody else, to strangers. If
anyone knows where I can find a convict uniform, let me know...
